The Crestview  Rotary Club chartered in 1987 with 20 members.  One of the most important elements has been the gradual move to more meaningful service in all aspects of  Rotary.

Today our club is on a strong upswing in good solid members because of this commitment to service.

1.  The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.

2.  High ethical standards in business and profession; the recognition of the worthiness of all       useful occupations; and  the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to       serve society.

3.  The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and        community life.

4.  The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world of       fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

4 - WAY TEST

of the things we think, say, or do…

1.  Is it the TRUTH ?

2.  Is it FAIR to all concerned ?

3.  Will it build GOODWILL and       better FRIENDSHIPS ?

4.  Will it be BENEFICIAL to

      all concerned ?

Rotarians have been led to give countless hours of their  time; in general weekly meetings, additional board meetings for those in leadership, event planning and execution, delivery of donations and supplies, and countless volunteer hours to hospitals, schools, and other community services.  Our locally focused projects include:

In 2012, the Crestview Rotary delivered constitutions to 7th grade students in each of the middle schools in the northern part of Okaloosa County.  This is done during constitution week and we have handed out roughly 1,600 constitutions to our youth.

The Crestview Rotary provides financial support to the teachers of our local schools by participating in the “Adopt A Classroom” program.  These funds help teachers to purchase much needed supplies for the education of our children.

Beginning at Crestview high school in 1992, The Wild Game Feast has just celebrated its 20th year.  Now held at Gum Creek, and accompanied by a quail hunt, this tremendously successful event has allowed the Crestview Rotary to donate more than $100,000.00 to Northwest Florida State College and its programs.

The Crestview Rotary has delivered more than 6,000 dictionaries to 3rd grade students in each of the 6 elementary schools in the northern part of Okaloosa County over the past 7 years.

The Crestview Rotary held its first annual Corn Maze in 2012, attracting approx. 6500 participants.  This wonderful family event raised $8,500 which will allow your Crestview Rotary to make an even stronger commitment to service in both its local community and worldwide.  Please help us as we plan for an even larger event in 2013!

Your Crestview Rotary is dedicated to supporting our community partners including:
